Thought I posted this back with the other one, but nope … this was from the same shoot for Tomoko’s glass work (bubble gum machines .. all glass).

I’m not really sure what my brain is doing these days. A couple days ago, driving home from work, my brain decided to fixate on the old, early 90’s show “Mann & Machine”. To the point that when I got home, I headed over to YouTube and was surprised to see that there’s a guy who put up 5 or 6 full episodes.
Today, while picking up the weird ass Japanese DVD “MPD (Multiple Personality Detective) Psycho III”, I couldn’t help buying the complete 1st Season box set of “The Greatest American Hero” with the bonus pilot for “The Greatest American Heroine”.
Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot, over? Oh well …
Anyway, onto other things. Ya know .. photography. Here’s something I don’t rarely do … a good deal of photoshop. Tomoko wanted something with a very simple background that showed both her gumball machines (these are blown glass pieces that she created). Composition was far too wide for the seamless I had and getting the 3 of them to blow a bubble at the same time was seriously testing my patience.
I ended up shooting each of them separately and placing them together on a fake background. I ended up liking another bubble that Tomoko blew better, so I then added that in to this one along with another layer for shadowing. In all, there’s 6 image layers combined for this. Hope it’s not too obvious. There is some artifacting in this websized version (original is over 5600 pixels wide).

Happy Birthday Tomokokokokitty! 😀

While cleaning up one of my drives I came across this shoot. I don’t think anyone else has seen these before. Tomoko and I had shot a bunch of stuff together during our time with the Bedroom Clubs at the Fenix, but this was the very first time working in my studio. This shoot was more about my understanding how I wanted to light her and getting her comfortable in a studio setting.
I think of this day fondly .. was the first of many fun shoots with this lady. Hugs to my Tomokokitty. 😀
All the OT I’m doing lately is putting me a bit behind, but getting some things done. This is from a shoot we did back at the end of October:

A lot of detail was lost in making these websized. Pity … the flowers in the glass “marbles” are highly detailed and made of colored glass.
Finished retouching images from the shoot we had a few weeks ago. Tomoko had just gotten her new phoenix tattoo, so we of course had to go into the studio for such an occasion.
2 studio shoots Tuesday, 1 Wednesday and 2 more coming up today. Been busy. Just got a chance to dump the cards Tuesday and make proofs. Here are a couple quick peeks from those two shoots. Playing on the Japanese theme a bit with Tomoko (plus getting some shots of her new Phoenix tattoo). Second model is Oasis. Brand new to modeling (this was only the 2nd time she’s done a shoot). This was just a quick test session.
Oh well … enough jibber jabber … time to grab a snack and get out of here ….

A few more from the shoot. Sword was on a whim of mine, we’ll be doing a few more sword sets coming up in the next couple of weeks. First one I posted a while ago is still my favorite from that shoot.
