Finished up the images from this shoot. Not sure what I’ll retouch next. Maybe an old event.

Currently retouching this shoot from the end of September. Revel picked up a new corset while in Germany. With a bit of fabric and creativity on her part, she came up with this outfit. It was off to Volunteer Park just to shoot a bit. I was still working on matching strobe light to outdoor ambient light [1 head portable battery powered strobe with softbox].
My favorite moment … the little girl who saw Revel and thought she was soooooo pretty. 😀

A couple more from this shoot …

Revel and I have actually shot quit a bit this past year. You guys haven’t seen most of what we’ve done because Revel is the only model I allow to do the retouching off shoots so there’s not much pressure on me to get them retouched beyond my own desire to do them. Of course, as most things, that desire usually takes a backseat to other stuff. Anyway, have some time so I’ve started getting into some of these shoots.

We were supposed to be shooting an outfit for AZAC Clothing but it arrived late (after the shoot). With both of us already having put the shoot in our schedules, Revel quickly put together this outfit and we headed out to shoot.
Busy day at work, but got to do a few of these so far during lunch. Should be able to finish these up in the next day or so …

Currently retouching this shoot with Revel from August. How do you not love working with this lady even if she did go to Germany and come back with a Nutella monkey on her back. 😀

You might remember this shoot from a few months ago. Revel in a beautiful lace, corset and PVC outfit. Had fun this day including lunch after the shoot with Revel at a nice little Thai place in the U District.
I processed these a little lighter on the contrast then I usually use. These felt like images that should be light and little dreamy. I like the feel the lower contrast gives these. I will say that looking at the websized images, these do not do justice to the fullsized images and the softness and rich color I see there. Definitely need to make a couple prints.
This is from the second shoot with Revel that we did for Artifice Clothing. It’s amazing where people will let you shoot if you are polite and respect their rules.

Last week, we were able to do the first of two shoots for Artifice Clothing. The first outfit we decided to shoot was pink and PVC and shiny. Don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I don’t shoot a lot of pink.
Second shoot should happen this week and that puts me 2/3rds of the way through my shoots I’m committed to doing and able to get back to catching up on editing other shoots. In the meantime, here’s a little pinkness for you:

On this day, Revel and I were going to shoot a couple of outfits for Artifice Clothing, but the designer didn’t have one piece for one of the outfits so they were delayed in arriving.
We both had blocked out the time in our schedules so why not shoot? Okay, we’re also both addicted to creating photos. I went over to her place and we just played around for a few hours with nothing clear in mind. Just winging it.
It’s shoots like these and models like Revel that keeps my love of photography strong.
